Privacy policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
Jaime Hanson Communications (“we,” “us”) is a marketing and messaging consultancy based in Knoxville, Tennessee. This policy explains what we collect when you visit jaimehanson.com, contact us, book a call or receive our emails, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, email address and anything you choose to send us, such as a message through a contact form or details you add when you book a call through our scheduling tool, which is part of FG Funnels.
- Automatically: basic technical information such as your browser, device, IP address, the pages you visit, the links you click and how you got to our site. We collect this with cookies, pixels and similar tools, including analytics and advertising tools such as the Meta pixel.
How we use it
- To reply to you and to set up and hold the call you booked.
- To send you emails you asked for, or, if you sign up for our list, emails about our work and resources. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how people use our site so we can improve it.
- To measure our marketing and to show our ads to people who have visited our site or look similar to them, on platforms such as Meta.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to protect against fraud.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not give it to other companies for their own marketing.
We share it with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website and scheduling platform (FG Funnels), email, analytics and advertising platforms. They may use it only to provide those services to us. Using advertising pixels can count as “sharing” under some state privacy laws; see “Cookies and ad tools” below for your choices. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Your email choices
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us to be removed. We may still send messages about a call you booked or work we are doing together.
Cookies and ad tools
We use cookies and pixels to keep our pages working, measure visits and measure and run our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a browser or extension that blocks tracking, or turn off personalized ads in your Meta ad settings. You can also email us to opt out of sharing for advertising. Some features may not work without cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are a subscriber, contact or client, and afterward only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards and reputable service providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it or delete it. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children
Our website and emails are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
General information only
What we publish is general information about marketing and communications. It is not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will let our subscribers know by email.
